Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Kavix (“we”, “us”) handles personal information when you use kavixglobalshop.com, Seller Center, and related emails.
Last updated: September 6, 2026. This is a marketplace privacy notice, not legal advice for your business.
1. Who this applies to
It covers shoppers, sellers, visitors who browse without an account, and people whose details appear on an order (for example a delivery recipient). If you use Kavix on behalf of a company, that company is also responsible for how it shares employee or customer data with us.
2. Information we collect
You give us
- Name, email, phone, password, shop name, and country.
- Shipping and billing addresses.
- KYC images (selfie, ID front and back) for sellers.
- Bank, UPI, TRC-20, or other payout fields you save for withdrawals.
- Messages you send to Support, returns reasons, and product reviews.
- Order contents, quantities, and prices you agree to pay.
We collect automatically
- IP address, browser type, device, language, and approximate location.
- Pages viewed, search terms, cart actions, and referral URLs.
- Cookies and similar storage for login session, language, and analytics.
Others provide
- Payment processors tell us if a charge succeeded or failed (not full card PAN).
- Carriers provide tracking events.
- Sellers provide listing and fulfillment data that may include your address once you buy.
3. How we use information
- Create and secure accounts, including email verification and password reset.
- Show the catalog, calculate listing prices, and process checkout.
- Share shipping details with the seller who must fulfill your order.
- Run KYC, fraud checks, and abuse investigations.
- Pay sellers, calculate commission, and keep tax-relevant records.
- Send transactional email (orders, shipping, security). Marketing email only if you opt in or local law allows a soft opt-in you can leave.
- Improve search, recommendations, and site performance.
- Comply with law, enforce Terms, and protect users.
4. Legal bases (where GDPR or similar rules apply)
We rely on contract (providing the marketplace you asked for), legitimate interests (security, product improvement, preventing fraud), consent (optional marketing cookies or newsletters), and legal obligation (invoices, dispute records, KYC where required).
5. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it with:
- Sellers, so they can ship and support the order you placed with them.
- Payment, payout, email, hosting, and analytics providers under contract.
- Carriers and customs brokers as needed to move a parcel.
- Professional advisers and authorities when required by law or to defend a claim.
- A buyer of Kavix’s business, under confidentiality, if we merge or sell assets.
Other shoppers may see your public shop name, ratings, and review text if you publish them. Do not put phone numbers in public reviews.
6. International transfers
Servers and vendors may be outside your country. We use contractual and technical safeguards that vendors commonly offer (encryption in transit, access controls). By using Kavix you understand your data may be processed in those locations.
7. Retention
Account data lasts while the account is open. Order, payment, and KYC records are kept as long as tax, anti-fraud, and dispute rules require — often several years after the last order. Server logs are rotated on a shorter cycle unless they are part of an investigation. You can ask us to delete an account; we will keep what the law says we must.
8. Security
We use HTTPS, hashed passwords, and restricted admin access. No website is perfectly secure. You must keep your password private and use a modern browser. Tell us at Support if you think someone used your account.
9. Cookies
Essential cookies keep you signed in and remember cart state. Analytics cookies help us see which pages fail. You can block non-essential cookies in your browser; the site may forget preferences. We do not use cookies to sell a profile of you to advertisers as a data product.
10. Your rights
Depending on your country you may access, correct, export, or delete personal data, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. Use your profile settings first, then Support. We may need to verify it is you. Some requests cannot be completed if they would break an open order or a legal hold.
If you are in the EEA or UK you may complain to your data protection authority. California residents may have additional disclosure and opt-out rights; we do not sell personal information as that term is commonly defined in those laws.
11. Children
Kavix is not directed at children under 16 (or 13 where that is the local threshold). We do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe we have, contact Support and we will delete it.
12. Changes
We will update the date at the top when this policy changes. Material changes may also be announced by email or a site banner. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.
13. Contact
Privacy questions go through Support. For shopping how-tos use the Help Center.
